SECOND BREAKFAST BAKERY
FAQ
Great question! Monthly bake boxes are prepared for pickup on the first Saturday of each month. Pre-ordering will end 1 week before that date to allow the baker to craft those boxes for you!
Second Breakfast Bakery does not have a "brick and mortar" location. It exists on the internet as a subscription-based bakery. You can find me at farmer's markets and occasional other pop-up markets. So technically, Second Breakfast Bakery is a "steel and polyester" tent bakery on serendipitous occasions (join my mailing list to find out!).
Nope! Too much cat hair for that... although if requested cat hair can be added to your box for a fee. Black and ginger floof available. I am baking out of FEED Kitchens on Madison's northside--this is a commercial kitchen incubator for small food businesses.
Occasionally, there will be meat in the breakfast boxes. If you contact me ahead of time, I will substitute the item with another item from that month's box. (i.e. two muffins instead of a bacon scone).
The muffins and loaves freeze really well. You can store them in the freezer for up to 3 months. The granola will keep at room temperature and sealed for 1 week. The pastries and scones on the other hand need to be eaten asap.
As a subscriber, make your choices each month by logging into your customer account. See this tutorial for additional info.
Absolutely! You have complete control over your subscription so you can pause or indeed cancel your subscription, at any time.
Contact our customer service department (me) by email or phone and we can work something out.
This varies from cat to cat, but in general, floofy cats produce 300 biscuits per hour (bph) and short-hair kitties produce 450 bph. Feral cats do not produce biscuits for general consumption.
Sadly, it is not possible to produce gluten-free products in a kitchen that also prepares most items with wheat flour. The wheat flour gets into the air, dances on the air currents, and find its way into every nook and cranny. Speaking of nooks and crannies, who's ready for English muffins?!
